Two $100,000 lottery tickets sold in Massachusetts on Saturday

Two lucky people purchased $100,000 winning lottery tickets on Saturday, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Both tickets were from the game Mass Cash. One was sold at J.J. Grimsby & Co. in Stoneham and the other was at Big Y in Southbridge. They were the highest winning tickets sold or claimed in the state Saturday.

Overall, there were 231 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold or claimed in Massachusetts on Saturday, including eight in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the game Megabucks Doubler. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware. There were also three $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
