A Taylorsville man is $250,000 richer after hitting it big on a $10 lottery scratch-off card, according to the Kentucky Lottery.The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said that he normally buys $20 tickets, but for some reason he doesn’t know, he decided to buy a $10 ticket on a whim.That “100X” ticket, purchased at the Taylor Boulevard Pic-Pac, yielded the game’s top prize when he matched the number 11 and then scratched off the prize amount box.”I put my glasses on to make sure I was seeing it right. I was looking at the numbers but couldn’t believe I had actually won. I was in disbelief,” he said. He claimed his prize on Tuesday, getting a check for $177,500 after taxes.The store that sold the ticket will receive a $2,500 bonus for selling it.
