The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $170 million with a cash option of $93.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 3, 16, 30, 33 and 36. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 3X.
While no one across the country hit Monday’s $158.4 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was sold in Louisiana.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 4, 7, 32, 55 and 64. The Powerball drawn was 25 with a Power Play of 2X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing on Monday. A second-prize, $500,000 ticket was sold in Florida. The winning numbers were: 10, 31, 48, 50 and 68. The Double Play Ball drawn was 7.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is now valued at an estimated $210 million with a cash option of $114 million.
