The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $100 million with a cash option of $52.9 million.
The winning numbers were: 6, 28, 44, 59 and 61. The Powerball drawn was 21 with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $89.2 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 35, 45, 47, 54 and 55. The Powerball drawn was 14 with a Power Play of 2X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing held after the main drawing Monday. The Double Play numbers drawn were 15, 50, 51, 53 and 68. The Double Play Ball number drawn was 21.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $379 million with a cash option of $202.6 million.
