The winning numbers were: 6, 52, 40, 45, 41. The Powerball drawn was 9 with a Power Play of 3x.
No one across the country hit Wednesday’s $69.6 million jackpot nor were there any second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, no one bought a ticket that turned out to be worth more than $200, lottery officials said.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 5, 7, 61, 63 and 69. The Powerball drawn was 18 with a Power Play of 2x.
In addition, no one hit the secondary, $10 million drawing that followed the main drawing on Wednesday. The winning numbers were 2, 24, 34, 42 and 54. The Double Play Powerball drawn was 11.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
