Powerball lottery: Did you win Saturday’s $270M Powerball drawing? Winning numbers, live results (9/24/2022)


The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $270 million with a cash option of $145.5 million.

The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and be televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.

No one across the country hit Wednesday’s $251.6 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.

In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 6, 33, 34, 45 and 54. The Powerball number drawn was 7 with a Power Play of 2X.

In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing on Wednesday. The winning numbers were: 18, 28, 39, 47 and 49. The Double Play ball drawn was 16.

No one has hit the Powerball jackpot since a $206.9 million ticket was purchased in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania for the Aug. 3 drawing.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
