The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $116 million with a cash option of $61.3 million.
The winning numbers were: 9, 23, 47, 49 and 68. The Powerball drawn was 19 with Power Play of 2x.
While no one across the country hit Wednesday’s $100.9 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was sold in Minnesota.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 6, 28, 44, 59, and 61. The Powerball drawn was 21 with Power Play of 2x.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing held after the main drawing Wednesday. The Double Play numbers drawn were 16, 25, 26, 37 and 48. The Double Play Ball number drawn was 16.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
