The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $158 million, with a cash option of $85 million.
The winning numbers were: 7, 37, 55, 65 and 67. The Powerball drawn was 12 with a Power Play of 5X.
No one across the country hit Saturday’s $149.9 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million winners.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 33, 56, 64, 66 and 68. The Powerball drawn was 12 with a Power Play of 2X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing held after the main drawing Saturday. A second-prize, $500,000 ticket was sold in Florida. The Double Play numbers drawn were 6, 9, 10, 19 and 28. The Double Play ball drawn was 23.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $465 million, with a cash option of $250.4 million. If someone wins, it would be at least the 26th largest prize in U.S. lottery history
