Powerball lottery: $441M Powerball Winning numbers

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $441 million with a cash option of $317.5 million.

The winning numbers were: 2, 6, 9, 33 and 39. The Powerball drawn was 11 with a Power Play of 2X.

While Nobody hit Monday’s jackpot, a $2 million Powerball lottery ticket was sold in New Jersey for Monday night’s drawing, as the jackpot remains unclaimed.

The ticket was sold at Little Store at 1503-1507 Clinton Ave., South Plainfield

The ticket was one of two that matched all five white balls and the Power Play number, with the other sold in Florida. A ticket worth $1 million was also sold in Florida.

Monday’s winning numbers were: 36, 38, 45, 62 and 64. The Powerball drawn was 19 with a Power Play of 2X.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball is played on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

The New Jersey Lottery offices in Lawrence are now open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. if players prefer to drop off a claim and validate a winning ticket in person. Claims can be left in a secure drop box at lottery headquarters. That option applies to prizes worth more than $599.50.

If player wins a prize of $25,000 or more (or otherwise feels more comfortable submitting their claims in person) appointments can still be made to meet with lottery representatives in person by calling 1-800-222-0996.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 27, 29, 45, 55 and 58. The Powerball drawn was 2 with a Power Play of 3X.

In addition, no one hit the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing on Saturday. There were also no second-prize, $500,000 tickets sold. The Double Play numbers drawn were: 1, 15, 28, 48 and 51. The Double Play Ball drawn was 26.
