The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $400 million with a cash option valued at $217.8 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and be televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $379 million jackpot, second-prize tickets matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball were bought in two states. A Pennsylvania ticket is worth $1 million, while a California ticket is valued at $1,561,712.
California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.
In New Jersey, a third-prize, $10,000 ticket was sold at Ottomanelli Liquors & Deli on Monroe Street in Hoboken.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 8, 19, 53, 61 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 19 with a Megaplier of 4X.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $134 million with a cash option of $72.3 million.
