The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $305 million with a cash option valued at $157.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 20, 23, 37, 46 and 52. The Mega Ball drawn was 6 with a Megaplier of 4X.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $284 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was sold in Illinois.
In New Jersey, three of the 14 tickets to match four numbers were bought with the Megaplier for an extra $1 and are worth $1,000. The other 11 are valued at $500 apiece.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 29, 31, 46, 54 and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 18 with a Megaplier of 2X.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $65 million with a cash option of $33.7 million.
