The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $231 million, with a cash option valued at $123.9 million.
The winning numbers were: 14, 25, 38, 59 and 64. The Mega Ball drawn was 21 with a Megaplier of 4x.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $210 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Wisconsin. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball..
In New Jersey, one of the 12 tickets sold that matched four numbers was purchased with the Mega Ball and is worth $1,000. The other 11 are valued at $500 apiece.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 16, 21, 54, 55 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 22 with a Megaplier of 2x.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $206 million with a cash option of $112.4 million.
