The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $191 million, with a cash option valued at $103.7 million.
The winning numbers were: 6, 17, 46, 59, and 68. The Mega Ball drawn was 2 with a Megaplier of 4x.
The drawing were held at 10:59 p.m. and be televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $169 million jackpot, a second-prize ticket matching five numbers was sold at Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh, New York. It’s worth $2 million instead of the standard, $1 million because it was sold with the Megaplier option for an extra $1.
In New Jersey, two of the 19 tickets that matched four numbers were bought with the Megapier option and are worth $1,000. The other 17 are valued at $500 apiece.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 39, 40, 52, 60, and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 20 with a Megaplier of 2x.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $170 million with a cash option of $93.8 million.
