Mega Millions lottery: Did you win Tuesday’s $154M Mega Millions drawing? Winning numbers, live results (11/8/22)

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $154 million with a cash option valued at $74.7 million.

The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and be televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.

While no one across the country hit Friday’s $119 million jackpot, a pair of second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold — one in Illinois and one at Riverton Pharmacy on Lexington Avenue in New York City. Each matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.

In New Jersey, a third-prize, $10,000 ticket was bought at 66 Bloomfield Petroleum on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark. It matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Friday’s winning numbers were: 2, 20, 47, 55 and 59. The Mega Ball drawn was 19 with a Megaplier of 2X.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing comes about 14 hours after a record-setting $2.04 billion Powerball drawing was won in Altadena, California. Three $1 million tickets were sold in New Jersey.

The drawing was delayed from Monday night until Tuesday morning because one of the 48 participating lotteries did not submit its sales information in time. The unnamed lottery “had not finished processing its sales and play data,” according to Powerball officials.
