The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $210 million, with a cash option valued at $114 million.
The winning numbers were: 16, 21, 54, 55 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 22 with a Megaplier of 2x.
While no one across the country hit Tuesday’s $191 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Iowa. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
In New Jersey, a $10,000 third-prize ticket was sold at Wawa on Hickory Corner Road in East Windsor, lottery officials said. It matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 6, 17, 46, 59, and 68. The Mega Ball drawn was 2 with a Megaplier of 4x.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $186 million with a cash option of $102.6 million.
