Massachusetts State Lottery winners: 4 $100,000 prizes won Friday

At least four people in Massachusetts went home $100,000 richer Friday.

Four Massachusetts State Lottery prizes, each worth $100,000, were won Friday. The lucky ticket-holders scored their prizes from three different games: “$100,000 Money Multiplier,” “Mass Cash” and “MILLIONS.”

From Boston to Western Massachusetts, the winning tickets were bought at stores across the state, including at the Centre Avenue Sunoco in Abington, Quality Market in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Village Convenience Store in Brookline and Gerry’s Variety in Easthampton.

The $100,000-prize winners were the biggest lottery victors Friday, but they were not the only lucky players. One $18,000 and another $15,000 prize were won the same day, and 14 others scored $10,000 each. Overall, there were more than 600 winning lottery tickets worth at least $625 claimed or sold in Massachusetts on Friday, including 27 in Boston, 21 in Worcester and 13 in Springfield.

On Thursday, there was only one $100,000-prize winner. The lucky ticket-holder scored their win off the “$15,000,000 Money Maker” game. The winning ticket was bought at Franklin Market in Melrose.

Each day, the state lottery releases a list of all the winning tickets worth more than $600.
