One lucky lottery ticket-holder in Massachusetts went home several hundred-thousand dollars richer Friday.
A $1 million prize, an award that comes out to $650,000 before taxes, was won from the “$15,000,000 Money Maker” game. The winning ticket was bought at Shrewsbury Gas & Market in Shrewsbury.

The $1 million-prize winner wasn’t the only big lottery victor Friday. Two more lucky ticket-holders also scored $100,000 awards each. One of the $100,000 prizes was won from the “Mass Cash” game at Joe’s Kwik Marts in Cambridge, and the other was won from “$15,000,000 Money Maker” at the Yarmouth Mini Mart in Yarmouth.

Overall, there were 635 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 claimed or sold in Massachusetts on Friday, including 66 in Boston, 18 in Worcester and 38 in Springfield.
There were a few significant prizewinners Wednesday as well. A $500,000 prize was won off a ticket bought at A L Prime Energy in Fitchburg from the “500 Grand” game, and two tickets worth $100,000 were won or claimed in Worcester and Falmouth.

Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a list of all the winning tickets that are worth more than $600. So far, the biggest prize won in the Bay State this year was worth $16.35 million. It was won from the “Megabucks Doubler” game and bought at the Cumberland Farms in Ware. There were also two $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
