Massachusetts State Lottery winner: Everett woman wins using anniversary and birth dates

An Everett woman won the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “All or Nothing” game after matching all 12 of the numbers on her ticket with those in a drawing two weeks ago.

Doreen Kelly won a $100,000 grand prize after using a combination of numbers that her father used to play and anniversary and birth dates, according to the state lottery. Kelly claimed her prize on Aug. 5 at the Lottery headquarters in Dorchester and received a one-time payment of $100,000 before taxes.

She purchased her winning ticket while dining with a friend at DeMaino’s Restaurant located at 14 Malden St. in Revere.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

Overall, there were more than 529 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 claimed or sold on Aug. 3 in Massachusetts, including 21 in Worcester and 10 in Springfield.

The largest lottery prizes won in Massachusetts this year were two $15 million prizes. Both lottery prizes were claimed by trusts.
