Six $100,000 winning “Mass Cash” tickets were sold at the same store in West Boylston store Thursday.
The tickets were all sold at J&J Variety, which is located at 360 West Boylston St.
It is not uncommon for multiple winning lottery tickets to be sold at the same store. Sometimes, the Massachusetts State Lottery said, players buy multiple tickets with the same number, including for Mass Cash, which “offers the best odds of winning $100,000 of any of our games.”
Overall, there were more than 550 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 claimed or sold in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 15 in both Springfield and Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prizes won in Massachusetts this year were two $15 million prizes. Both lottery prizes were claimed by trusts.
