Massachusetts State Lottery: Methuen woman wins $1 million with ticket bought at store that sold 3 big winners in 2 months

The Massachusetts State Lottery revealed a big winner at a Methuen store on a hot streak.

Rebecca Wilson of Methuen won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Diamond Millions” instant ticket game, according to the lottery. She’s going to use a portion to pay off the mortgage on her house.

She bought her $30 ticket at Ted’s Stateline Mobil at 551 Broadway in Methuen, which has sold three tickets worth $1 million since the beginning of May. She claimed her prize on May 18.

Brittany Briody of Saugus won $1 million with a Mega Millions ticket on June 3. Another $1 million winner was sold or claimed for the game “$10,000,000 Bonus Wins,” at the store.

Ted’s will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket, according to the lottery.

In addition to the three $1 million tickets, the store sold a $25,000 winner on Tuesday.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
