Lucky Seat introduces white label digital lottery software

The digital ticket-lottery platform Lucky Seat has introduced white label software, that is now available to be integrated with box office ticketing systems for a streamlined customer and venue experience.

This new version of Lucky Seat works as an extension of a venue’s ticketing system. Venue staff now have the ability to work directly with the platform to conduct digital lotteries, applying their own branding and eliminating the use of third-party ticketing platforms.

The digital lottery software allows venues and productions to work together to determine the number of tickets available for individual performances. Box offices and productions can then manage how many tickets are made available through Lucky Seat.

Lucky Seat’s refreshed digital lottery also serves customers, providing more options when it comes to claiming their tickets, including will call and digital delivery. Customer information also filters directly into the venue’s database instead of being stored elsewhere.

The new system was introduced first by Mirvish Productions for shows including “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” “& Juliet” and others.

“Mirvish Productions engaged Lucky Seat to develop a digital lottery given their experience running lotteries for many Broadway shows in New York and across North America,” said Chris Dorscht, director of sales and audience services, and Jim Aldridge, general manager of ticketing for Mirvish Productions, in a joint statement.

“They delivered a digital lottery that is easy to use and integrated with our ticketing system. Mirvish definitely won the lottery with Lucky Seat!”

Since its first drawing in 2015, Lucky Seat has been used to connect fans with discounted tickets for various theatrical productions, concerts and sporting events through a lottery system.

Initially developed for New York’s Jujamcyn Theaters and Broadway Across America, the platform is now used across North America.
