FISHKILL – For the second time in days, and several other times in recent weeks, the Smokes 4 Less store on Main Street in Fishkill sold yet another third-prize Powerball ticket, this one for the April 23 drawing. Like the others, this ticket was worth $50,000.
The parent company owner has not returned phone calls for comment.
A second Dutchess County store also sold a third-prize $50,000 ticket for the same drawing. That was sold at Rao’s Citgo station on Route 44 in Salt Point.
In total, six third-prize tickets were sold for the April 23 drawing, the others in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Bro0oklyn and two in Manhattan.
The winning numbers were 10-39-47-49-56 and the Powerball was 8.
The Powerball jackpot for Monday night’s drawing is now $421 million.
