LEDYARD, CT — A Stamford woman won $10,000 playing the CT Lottery. Veronica Beckford won playing Play4 Day.
She purchased the lucky ticket Wednesday at the Foxwoods Casino Outpost in Ledyard.
The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.
The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.
“The fact is, people win every day with the CT Lottery!” officials said in a statement.
